Mediterranean Morning, James St, Brisbane

Mediterranean Morning brought together Brisbane’s design community for an inspiring exploration of the enduring appeal of Mediterranean interiors. The event attracted a strong turnout, reflecting the growing interest in design approaches that balance timeless elegance with relaxed, lifestyle-focused living.

Led by renowned interior designer James Treble, the discussion explored the defining elements of Mediterranean design, from natural materials and sun-washed colour palettes to the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Attendees gained valuable insights into how these principles can be adapted to contemporary Australian homes, creating environments that are both sophisticated and welcoming.

The event also received industry recognition through coverage by Loni Parker from Adore Home Magazine, further highlighting its relevance within the design community. Beyond the presentation itself, the morning celebrated craftsmanship, meaningful connections, and the art of curating furniture collections that unite Mediterranean character with the Australian way of life.

Architecture and Home Decor Yearbook of Bahia and TRIA Art Gallery, Salvador, Brazil

From 2020 to 2026, I have been managing Tria Art Gallery, overseeing its artistic, cultural, and strategic direction across both online and offline platforms.

Within this role, I lead a diverse range of initiatives spanning exhibitions, artist development, cultural programming, and integrated communication strategies that connect art, architecture, and design audiences.

One of the projects I am particularly proud of is coordinating multiple editions of the cover production for the Architecture and Home Decor Yearbook of Bahia. This publication is developed in close collaboration with artists and cultural partners and reflects a broader curatorial and editorial vision.

My involvement covers the full creative process, from selecting the featured artist and conducting interviews to developing editorial content, coordinating advertising partnerships, and overseeing the final cover production. Each edition becomes an extension of a wider cultural narrative that connects the gallery’s program with the regional design and architecture community.

The yearbook is also one component of a larger communication ecosystem I manage annually, which includes exhibition programming, artist-led workshops, vernissage events, catalogues, press relations, and ongoing cultural and educational activations.

Across this work, I also operate through my agency, Boler Marketing and Communications, integrating strategic communication with cultural programming to build consistent and meaningful visibility for the gallery and its artists.
